With Fridays surf forecast looking really good, offshore winds all day with plenty of ESE swell predicted, I wasn’t surprised when I looked at the surf cams , and saw the prediction was correct. So when Macca rang me and suggested that we head out to the Lake , it was a no-brainer on my part to say yes! When we arrived in car park and saw Troy’s ute , I knew Macca made the right call to head out here…..

We were soon joined by Robbie Slater aka Mr Drift, and not long after him, Tom and Gareth arrived to join in the fun.

Simon arrived a few hours later after finishing his work shift and was soon in the water himself enjoying the conditions and also the increasing crew of hungry surfers.

By lunchtime the tide had dropped and so did the crowd factor, so at one point there was only a handful of surfers spread across the beach, and as usual , Simon was the standout surfer in the water….Ripping

Mark Slater arrived later in the afternoon after we had left, but Robbie waited around for him , a little smaller but still good offshore action!
