Twin Fin
Finally had a chance to give the newly adjusted , well we stuck to M5 size side fins in, running parallel with the stringer…into some small but great running right handers and what a difference it has made! I can finally plant the tail with my feet and push some drive into a turn, where as before with the two smaller stabilizer fins, it would slide thru a turn or do a 360 at the drop of a hat.
smaller stabilizer fins
I found I could still let the tail fade on the top/bottom turn’s if pressure was not applied from my feet , with 360’s not as loose a before , but still easy enough to spin if wanted. A great 2nd surf and looking forward to seeing how it goes on a larger and steeper face.
The video below is from that afternoons test run .

The whole Venturi system in board design is not new, and in fact when I went thru my mates collection of Chris Crozier kneeboards, there was a 1974 model

Surf Report from Johhny Tofu, with good mate Terry Towelling pictured below……
The Sea giveth, and the Sea taketh away. If anyone finds a lost Duck Foot XL, it's mine. It was dragged out in the rip at Werri Beach this morning while I was taking off my flippers in shallow water. A reward will be paid in the way of a big kiss on the lips. TOP waves on the 4gf mats today. Now I have my own trick called the Tee-Bone and Terry has the Double Decker and the Wrestling the Old Lady. Mat riders are sexy.
