How desperate could a man be?
Well on a surfmat you can be as desperate as you like, with little 2ft waves = overhead bliss. The video below was taken by fellow SCUMM member Phil Harper with his little cheap ‘point and shoot ‘camera , whilst Brian and myself were out there riding a Krypt MT5 IV and a 4GF Omni.

Sean is a local surfer who has also taken to riding his old kneeboard ‘prone’ . he would normally be out riding his old fiberglass Malibu , but after seeing us SCUMM crew having so much fun on our mats, that he often joins us surfing prone.

A couple of M5 side fins have been added to see if it give the drive to ‘come off the top ‘ and not just go round and round !
I took it out for a quickie last Sunday morning and caught a couple of Lumpy one’s before swapping to a surf mat.The waves and tide were way full and bumpy , so to be fair it hard to say if this has fixed its problem….
