We Surf it Shallow



Well Friday rolled around very quickly , and by the afternoon Paul was keen to go and check out our Kneelo Cove, so when we pulled up in the carpark and saw a little wave in the corner and with the added bonus of surfing this to ourselves…we were out there in a flash!

It was only small, but we had heaps of fun and with the swell to be slightly bigger on Saturday, with offshore winds predicted and a incoming tide, this was a good warm up for the next day!

As I thought, Saturday arrived and with only Eric in the car as Paul had some domestic duties to attend to, the swell had picked up slightly and as you can see , the conditions not bad either…..and we surfed this for 2 hours before another surfer came out to join us…..ha

We had a ball out there, plenty of tight take offs and barrels to be had, with a nice wall section to roundhouse off….kneelo heaven, and it was a good wave to get my Harddartz kneeboard, with its c-channel and keel system, going…..vroom! After 2 hours another surfer paddled out and with the tide reaching high and filling it in a bit, we decided to go in and bring our surf mats out, so a great fun way to end our session!
