Jed aged 9After a lazy and late start to Sunday morning, Brenden and I headed down to Bendy to see what was around surf wise. After checking the north end of back beach, crowded and the surf still small with the NE wind just starting to kick in we headed around to Manyana beach for a splash .I had a surf on my mat and after heading back to shore I notice a couple of young kids walking towards the water with kneeboards and flippers in their hands....what....now theres something you dont see everyday, a kneeboarder under the age of 20!! Meet Jed aged 9 and his brother Chad aged 11, they are local Manyana kneelos along with their father Chris who makes their boards.The boys have been in contact with the WAKA'S about joining the club , so look forward to seeing more of these young kneelo's in the water and at the KSA comps during the year!
