After picking up Mike Fernandez and Tom Backer from Bomaderry train station on Monday afternoon, we headed back to the Slater homestead at Woollamia to unpack the bags and chill out for the arvo!
The next morning the call was for Ozzie Pipe, but after arriving there early and greeted with a very small east swell and onshore winds, we headed down to Mark McCloud and Manyana Beach for a morning surf.
After enjoying a fun beachbreak for a hour or so , some breaky at Currajong Shop , we headed back to Macca's house for a quick coffee and chat, then onto the north end of Bendy for another paddle.
Surf number 3 was finally back to pipe, which had cleaned up and had a few nice 2-3 ft waves pushing through, and only a small crew on it. We were greeted by Tom and Chris Linn, and Devo in the water with Greg Sherman on the rocks watching the crew getting shacked.. I paddled out and had a few waves before heading back in to grab my camera and record some of the action.
The kneelos had a great time getting shacked and sharing waves with the local crew (lol) what a great way to see the day out!
Here is some pics from Rob Slater taking during the course of the day!
