RDO Friday
Well being a mild mannered construction worker from Monday to Friday and then morphing into a crazy weekend warrior surf nut over the weekend can take its toll , so when that magic second Friday rolls around....look out world SCUMM nuts are at large and on the hunt for waves , fun & laughs.
After a quick trip down the coast to one of our favorites haunts we were greeted by a already crowded reef and after to speaking to one of the locals we decided to search for uncrowded bliss but had to settle for a long beach walk, wind blown cross shore mess and then some re fuel before heading back 2 hours later where we first look!
Neal did tell us a funny joke though

the crew were great with plenty of laughs & sharing but it was all cool and as we knew most of them anyways I got to have a good look at what was being ridden , such a fun morning.
Saturday
Another road trip with us heading north to one of our old haunts Comerong Island which is accessed by the river punt and is a haven for cows , midges & flies.
After a quick punt ride across the Shoalhaven River and a long bumpy drive thru the bush track to the beach , we were greeted by perfect little banks but bugger all swell...hey we should have came here Friday!!
I did say small but enough to ' float my boat ' and we surfed it till the tide killed the fun.
