Riding Surf Mats with
Neal Cameron
It seems like forever since I rode a surf mat, with the holiday crowds in full swing over the Xmas break, I had been surfing my little Softech Hybrid almost daily and not travelling too far from home, but now as the New Year wears in, its time to venture back to my favourite mat sliding spot and I was able to catch up with Neal for a couple of slides on the mat.

‘ Riding waves here on a board can produce moments that will keep me grinning for hours........but riding/sharing waves on the surfmat with Adam Williams produces moments at the end of a ride where we both laugh like school kids!! SO much fun! ‘

Below is some footage that I recently edited for Neal, shot with a old Go Pro One camera back in 2010, the camera was mounted on a pole and was recording over the riders shoulder.

Australia Day 2016
We celebrated Australia Day in my backyard here at Wandandian, plenty of lamb chops and kangaroo kebabs, all washed down with nice cold beer and a refreshing spa pool to occupy the kids and big kids as well.
