Climbing
Diamond Head Crater
Well we climb it, not the hardest walk I have done and Pigeon House Mountain down here on the NSW coast is way harder, but once you reach the summit , you look down upon Waikiki and have a 360 view right round. My wife and I took the guided tour, and for $26 each , we were picked up from our Hotel and given a guided tour up to the summit, with plenty of information thrown in, and then dropped back to our hotel at Waikiki ….of course you can just drive up there and walk it yourself without the guide, but I really recommend this as it way informative and you get a personalized ‘I climb Diamond Head certificate ‘ at the end…..lol
I filmed most of the trip via my Go Pro camera, so these videos explains about the geology, history , flora and fauna of the crater.

Waikiki Twilight
There was plenty of free entertainment down on the beach .
Just to the left of the Duke Kahanamoku statue .
Every second afternoon there would be some live singing and Hawaiian dancing……with a picture perfect sunset in the background
So after a nice swim on the beach
You would hear the Conch Shell blow
and the entertainment would start!
Plenty of colour in their beautiful costumes!
this little clip was filmed over a few afternoons with my canon 70D and IPhone camera
